What is the difference between the Solis 5G Pro 110kW and the S6 110kW?
The 5G Pro (SOL-110K-5G-PRO-DC) is from the older Pro 5G series with 8 MPPTs and 16 string inputs, while the S6 (SOL-S6-GC110K) is the newer S6 generation with 10 MPPTs and 20 string inputs. The 5G Pro has a higher max efficiency of 98.5% vs 98.7% on the S6. The S6 also adds dual independent RS485 ports, optional PLC communication, and optional EPM integration. Both are 110 kW rated, 121 kW surge, IP66, with AFCI protection.
