Modern Slavery Policy

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Modern slavery and human trafficking remain serious issues affecting societies worldwide. We recognise our responsibility to remain vigilant and to identify any potential risks, no matter how small, within our own business and throughout our supply chain.

Our Commitment

DECO Group is fully committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains. We operate ethically and with integrity in all our relationships, taking reasonable steps to prevent such practices within our organisation and among our partners.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

We have zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. All suppliers and contractors are expected to uphold our standards and values. As part of our approach to risk mitigation, we have established systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and to protect whistleblowers.

Our supply chain partners are UK-based, and we expect them to maintain suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and practices.

Training and Awareness

Our management team is responsible for compliance within their departments and supplier relationships, and receives appropriate training. All staff receive an induction outlining our relevant policies, procedures, and expectations.

Measuring Effectiveness

We monitor our effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking through:

  • Labour monitoring, right to work checks, and payroll audits
  • Maintaining regular communication with supply chain partners to ensure their understanding and compliance with our expectations
  • Regularly reviewing supply chain policies, codes of conduct, and working practices

Reporting Concerns

Suspicions of modern slavery can be reported via the Company’s Public Interest Disclosure (Whistleblowing) Policy or externally through the Modern Slavery Helpline:
