Does the Solis S5-GC25K include monitoring equipment?
No. This inverter does not include a data logger, CT, meter, or export power manager. For single-inverter export control, use the SOL-METER-3PH-CT3 (requires a data logging stick). For multi-inverter systems, use the EPM3-5G-PLUS (has a built-in data logger). For WiFi monitoring, use the S5-WiFi-ST. All accessories are sold separately.
What is the difference between the Solis S5 25kW, 30kW, 36kW, and 40kW?
All four are in the S5-GC(25-40)K series. The 25 kW and 30 kW have 3 MPPTs with 6 inputs; the 36 kW and 40 kW have 4 MPPTs with 8 inputs. The 25 kW accepts up to 37.5 kW PV input, the 30 kW takes 45 kW, the 36 kW takes 54 kW, and the 40 kW takes 60 kW. All share the same warranty extension parts.
Can this inverter monitor site consumption at night?
Yes. When paired with a compatible smart meter and correctly configured, the inverter supports 24-hour load consumption monitoring.
Can I extend the warranty?
Yes. The standard 5-year warranty can be extended to 10 years or 20 years with the appropriate warranty extension parts.
