- EPM requirement in the UK. For S6 GC units in the 80 to 125 kW range an external Export Power Manager is still required on UK projects. Factor this into BOMs and control wiring from day one.
- G99 and grid compliance. The S6 commercial series is certified for UK grid connection. Always cross check the latest G99 type test certificates and DNO requirements against the exact model and firmware you are using.
- Consider parallel architecture early. On larger plants, decide up front whether you will parallel S6 units through a Power Distribution Cabinet so you can plan AC cabling, protection and communication cleanly.
